Dodecahedron Lamp

This dodecahedron lamp is easy to print (no supports) and will light up your room geometrically. To build the lamp you need:11 * Outer pentagons11 * Inner pentagons30 * Connectors (don't worry, they're tiny)1 * Bottom pentagon1 * StandNon-printed parts:1 * E14 bulb socket1 * E14 bulb11 * Translucent/transparent pentagons of your choice (max. 1 mm thickness) As the parts are pretty flat, there's no need to use a brim.However, I recommend letting the pentagons cool off before removing them from the build plate to avoid bending them. Assembly: First, use the stencil to cut out your pentagons.I used 1 mm transparent PETG (not 3D-printed) and applied a dichroic filter to create the “rainbow effect”. To assemble the pentagons, just place the transparent part in the cutout of the outer part and snap on the inner one.The stiffer the transparent material, the more rigid the whole lamp will be.
