I don't like to use the same sponge for my dog bowls and the people dishes. I was keeping the dog sponge in an old tupperware. Finally decided to get something more aesthetic, because it was an eyesore on the counter. I was suprised when I couldn't find many animal themed sponge or soap dishes. This ended up becoming the first 3d model I ever made! I recommend printing with PETG, or another filament with more heat tolerance (so not PLA). Hand wash only!
