I wanted a riser for my dog and couldn't find one I liked! I made this and its great I made the top fit loose on a 8" bowl for setting and getting it out easily. It's sturdy and shouldn't tip over! The riser is 8" tall also. I believe it could be scaled down to fit smaller bowls but i haven't tried it.
