This is a dog clamp for my woodworking projects.
I initially made a wood version, but decided to make a plastic version. The arm and the rod need to be strong, so I kept them as wood. The arm is made by left-over pieces.
1. Drop a washer
2. Put a thin grease on the cap nut
3. Apply a glue (I used JB Weld) and clamp them
Just in case, if the wood rod is not strong enough, I buy Aluminum rod
