Dog Leash Clip

I have short (1 foot) leashes on my dogs when they are running free on my patio or in public places where it is allowed. I do this in case I need to get firm control of them in a hurry. The leashes are a little too long to just let them hang as the dogs feet might get tangled. So I created these leash clips for them. They hold the leash safely in a loop but can be released with a tug. They latch together like "pop-beads" and are fastened to the leash in 2 places with small zip ties. They are designed for 3/8 in. / 10mm standard leashes but will probably fit other sizes as well. I expect you could resize them to your needs but be to scale both pieces by the same % to insure a good fit.
