Dog Leash Handle

Dog people told me to use inexpensive paracord as a leash for walking and running my dog. This thinner rope gives incentive for my demonic beast to not rip my shoulder out of socket. The thin rope also gives me incentive to go to the hospital to glue my fingers back on. This is my particular solution.

Here's a first draft that I've been using daily for six months with no major issues. The handle is plenty strong and solves about 99% of the pain problem. My Lab/German Sheppard could pull down an Apache helicopter.....somehow. Only the extreme outlier dogs will break this.

Downsides
In the summer, it gets a little sweaty. Maybe in the future, I'll add some kind of thermal management.
