Make a complete 1:12 Georgian Dollhouse room by room with us - come visit, get your free set (in the welcome post) and see what it's all about! :) This simple little press is designed so you can emboss foil into miniature tin ceiling panels. Simply cut 2 pieces of foil, glue together and press into the panel (see pics). We used an old eraser to press foil into all the crevices so it didn't tear. Remove, trim the edges and glue onto your ceiling. Use a skewer to press down around the edges so you avoid squashing it. We gave our airbrush a test run but you can also lightly brush over the acrylics of your choice in layers … experiment with a scrap of foil before doing the whole ceiling.
