Dome camera waterproof housing

Waterproof case to convert a dome camera for indoors to outdoor.

Originally made for Tp-Link Tapo WiFi security dome cameras, specifically the C210

The case is comprised of 3 printed parts (base, locking ring, and a O-ring), a glass or acrylic dome and a backplate of roof to attach it to.

The base and the ring are made out of PETG and the O'ring is TPU.


How it works:

The camera is mounted in a base that has 2 holes for M3 screws, they line up exactly for a Tapo C210 dome camera mounting bracket. Using an aluminum or wooden spacer or a 3d printed custom mount allows for any other camera to be compatible with the base. The power cable is run through a small hole on the center of the base and then out through a channel out the top side.

To make the enclosure waterproof the flat side of the base needs to be installed against a surface that acts as the roof of the housing. It can be installed directly on the underside of a rooftop or gallery. Alternatively a galvanize
