Description This set of 3D printable parts is designed to protect mirrored wardrobe doors from hitting a metal radiator when opening. It prevents cracks, chips, and catastrophic glass breakage by absorbing and limiting the impact between the door and the radiator. The system includes three functional variants: Version 1 – Simple PETG Bumper (Bottom Mount) A rigid, compact protector mounted at the bottom area, creating a safe mechanical stop between the door and the radiator. Version 2 – PETG Bumper with Rubber Pads (Bottom Mount) An upgraded version with integrated rubber buttons for: Shock absorption Noise reduction Extra safety for fragile mirror glass Version 3 – Upper Radiator Guard (Top Mount) A top-mounted PETG protector installed directly on the radiator, acting as a soft contact surface for the door and preventing metal-to-glass contact at the upper edge. Together, these parts offer full protection both low and high, covering real-life opening angles and accidental over-travel. Features Protects mirrored doors from cracking Prevents metal-to-glass impact No drilling into the door or radiator Easy clip-on / slide-on mounting 3 functional variants for different setups Child-safe and apartment-friendly Designed for PETG durability and heat resistance Printing Recommendations Material: PETG (recommended for heat resistance near radiator) Layer height: 0.2 mm Infill: 20–30% Walls: 3–4 perimeters Rubber buttons (Version 2): TPU or standard rubber pads No supports required (depending on orientation) Disclaimer This is a custom, non-OEM, 3D printable safety accessory.
