Update: some a$$hat know-it-all moron ridiculed my design and choice of print material on a reddit carpenter group, despite my never claiming this is for an outdoor facing security door. Two years later I'm happy to prove that dumba$$ wrong: unlike the carpenter-fitted metal strike plate the house came with, mine actually works, and it's resisted my cats' daily attempts to break into the laundry room for years. So there you have it! The gall!
