A very simple, yet reliably working latch that automatically catches a door and holds it in place. The design contains multiple latches with different mounting configurations. Does not need springs, magnets or any other hardware other than a few screws to mount it in place. Does not rely on bending parts to increase live time. For screws, I use conventional 3x14 and 3.5x40 wood screws, but any similar screws will work as well. Supports bolts with a diameter up to 9mm (a 10mm bolt technically also fits, but gravity won't be able to close the latch on it's own). I use both M6 bolts and printed 8mm rods.
