Door "stay put"

So a redesign is in order, but this is the first version i came up with. So I regularly like to have the door partially open, just a little ventilation, but not standing wide open to block some sun. I got tired of triangularly shaped things, and the fact that they mess up the rubber strip along the bottom of the door. So I 3d printed a "stay put", the top knob is spring loaded such that it engages ramped notches inside when turned clockwise, but you can pull out(compressing the spring and disengaging the notches) and let it turn left letting the string down, thus putting the foot down. The foot pressure is adjusted by adding or removing rubber bands. I coulda used real springs, but decided rubber bands were plentiful enough, and made for easy adjustment.
