Radiator Brackets (L&R)
With high cost of living I wanted to get more out of drying on my radiators, as many of the existing products are now 3 times the price they were a few years ago or hard to find I decided to create my own
As such there are 2 end caps, these sit on the standard UK double radiator (see pics), you then cut to the required size a section of 20mm standard white pipe/conduit, insert, add a screw (2.5mm hole in each cap to accept a small grub screw) or glue each end cap and voila!
The 20mm tube is available from most DIY stores and if you scrub it clean from trade marks and labels it comes up white and clean. I’ve seen it from £1.49 for 2m up to £4.50 from the more expensive DIY stores but even at this price you can make yourself several for less than the price of a single one from the high street
[I thought the 20mm pipe was in fact plumbing pipe but when searching for it again in the local DIY shop it is in fact electrical conduit and in the electrial sec
