Double Spring Trophy

First of all well done for the 4 million users Grabcad team ! The design process for this trophy was pretty straight forward. I had this kind of design in my mind for a while, and this challenge gave me the opportunity to finally do it. First I listed what I imagine as the "symbols" of engineering. I ended up with the gear, the nut and the spring. Then it was just a matter of putting it all together. I went with the nut as a base mostly because I thought that it was more esthetic than a gear. Since I had no good place to put a gear, I decided to put it as an "easter egg" on the front plate. The main reason it's a double spring is to have something original (a single spring would be boring) and because I wanted to be able to have two colours / materials. For the render I obviously used the colour scheme of Grabcad and mahogany for the base (just because it's my favourite wood and it just look awesome in the Fusion360 rendering tool) with a brass plate. I also experimented with other colours/materials, and it work pretty well too ! I hope you enjoy this trophy design ! (BTW, no it's not inspired from the Webby's design, I've realized that it was vaguely similar only after designing it ^^)
