Douglas A-4 Skyhawk

The A-4 Skyhawk is a legendary American attack aircraft, renowned for its agility, simplicity and reliability. Developed in the 1950s, the Skyhawk was designed by Douglas Aircraft as a lightweight air-attack support aircraft that could be taken off even from smaller aircraft carriers. Despite its compact size, the Skyhawk has an impressive range and weapons payload, making it a key part of air operations in Vietnam. It has appeared in several films and television series, most notably in the classic "Top Gun" (1986), where it was used to simulate enemy aircraft during training.
