Another airplane that I thought was interesting and decided to make. This is the Douglas Model 1265 from the 1950s. I couldn't find much information on this plane and I am not sure where the design came from. I am pretty sure it was never made. I do know that the picture of the model from the internet is slightly different than the schematic. I am by no means an aircraft engineer but, to me, the wings don't look big enough for an airplane with this much fuselage, maybe 300 mph landings just to avoid a stall. I could be wrong.
