A friend asked if I could print JewishBacon's [dowel jig](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2992811), so I did. Printed it as suggested, but thought that it didn't need to happen like that, so I sketched something up in Fusion 360 which I think will work a little better. _(I don't seem to be able to leave anything alone!)_
If you don't know what a dowel jig is, it's a drill guide that will help you drill into two pieces of wood so you can use a dowel to join them. It'll give a cleaner appearance than using screws.
This works like the source, but uses less material where it isn't needed, and can be printed standing up. Original thing suggested printing on its side to ensure strength, but I can't imagine this needs that much strength. I also created a larger window with a point that can help line up the mark on the wood. The window in the original was pretty small.
I've also only uploaded the 3/4" version - although I should point out that nominal 3/4" stock usually is not an ac
