A dowel jig I designed in 6mm, 8mm or 10mm sizes.
I also made one that holds a metal insert for a longer lifespan as I have a project that requires a couple hundred dowel joints.
The metal insert was made on a lathe, dia. 19.6mmx50mm long, with the smaller end dia.15mmx40mm. A M6 nut and bolt holds it in place.
