Dowel Modular Ramp

My pet rats love to climb to the top of their cage on free roam time. But as male rats get older they loss strength and control on their hind legs. So I designed a modular ramp and platform system using ⅜" wood dowels as bearing elements.

The parts are named in Spanish as follows:

*Escalon* - Basic step piece
*Escalon Aleteado* - Step piece with a bump to give more grip to aid descent
*Union Recta* - Joining piece between dowels
*Escalon Recortado* - Step piece with a cut out to accommodate 'Union Recta', there is a mirrored version
*Anclaje Inferior* - Joining piece between a dowel and a cage wire
*Soporte Reja* - Joining piece between a dowel and the cage top wire mesh
