Hey guys,

I needed a downlight cover that would fit my particular led light globe, but the covers that i had, wouldnt fit the leds, so i modelled a down light cover in sketchup that would work with my application, i havent printed the finger, so not sure if that fit properly.

I used glow in the dark blue PLA, when the light is turned off, theres a blue ring glowing in the dark, looks particularly cool, will upload some pics over the next few days.

theres a few small supports for the engagement tang, they can be easily removed with a knife.

attached the 2 pieces with a little glue/epoxy.

This can be printed in PLA, ABS, whatever you feel like, in whatever colour, i used glow in the dark because that is what i had most of, didnt want to mess it up and waste the little clear filament i had left, but i like the PLA glow in the dark blue!

Enjoy.
