Downspout flexible hinge

Edit: 2025/09/03 - Added a “narrow” version that brings the two sections of downspout closer together. This should help prevent leakage at the hinge during heavy downpours. In theory anyway. Got tired of the downspout falling off every time I moved it to mow the lawn. So I made my own downspout hinge based on metal downspout hinges I saw online. I suggest you use materials that will stand up to the environment like PETG, ABS, ASA. The file has one half of the full hinge. Print out two copies. There is an A part (yellow in the photos), a B part (red in the photos), and a hinge pin (white in the photos). Join the one pair with the A part on the inside of the joint, and the other pair with the B part on the inside of the joint. In the final hinge assembly setup one side will have an A at the top, the other side a B.
