Dragon Hatchling

This is one of my first purely sculptural pieces, inspired by an ostrich egg that I acquired about 20 years ago.
To duplicate this effort you'll need a real ostrich egg, (though I have included one as an .stl just in case.)
You will also need some liquid latex and some sand.
Egg, sand and latex can be found on Amazon.

I have included a base to keep the egg from rolling around. it is not fancy, only functional.
I recommend looking into some of the beautiful candle holders by other Thingiverse artists for a stand of your own. Just remember, the eggs are not perfectly cylindrical so you'll probably need to modify the top of the holder just a bit to keep the egg stable.
