Drain for a vegetated garbage box

I built a frame around our wooden garbage box. The top carries a water drain foil and 100mm soil so that plants can be grown. This thing represents the drain so that we have a dedicated spot where water can flow through and a 50mm (inner diameter) rainwater tube can be connected inside the garbage box for flow control.

As shown on the images I bent the foil to fit to the inside of the inlet. This way no water can flow underneath the foil. Additionally I have glued the parts to the foil using foil glue. This was sticking to the PETG parts very well.
