My design goal was basically to use as little plastic as possible, while still having the machine structurally sound. This will probably always be considered a work in progress. The dremel attachment is meant for one of the old dremel specific flex shaft extension. I made the attachment point somewhat modular, so you can attach a different end effector, if you choose. I have attempted to build several 3D printers, so I have a lot of extra parts hanging around. I just designed the CNC to use those parts. I originally used IGUS plastic linear guides, but I switched to linear bearings, because they were not that expensive, but significantly higher quality. The mount for them can fit either.
