I designed the drill bit case I wanted, but couldn't find, with an integrated hinged lid that snaps easily in place and is just as easily lifted, and provides protection and organization for my bits with nice convenience features and low filament use. This is sized to hold 13 drill bits with standard ¼ inch (6.35mm) hex shanks ranging from 90 to 120mm length, matching an inexpensive set of bits that's been my go-to for years. There is space for three 120mm long bits (total length, including shank) tapering down to 90mm for the shortest. There are spring walls with catches to hold the bits securely, and designed so can press lightly on the bottom of the bit to pop the drill bit out for easy access. The lid can fold under the tray to create a vertical stand. Users with 256x256mm plates can print-in-place, but A1 Mini will need to print the case and lid separately.
