Droid Depot Restraining Bolt

EDIT: See below about tips for fitting the magnet.

After building a droid at Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland, I wanted to print out some accessories for him.

There are a lot of restraining bolts to print but this one was made with a droid depot unit in mind. It's made to scale so you should not have to resize it at all.

There is a 6x3.25mm hole in the bottom of the unit for a 6x3mm magnet. Put in your magnet, place another magnet inside the personality chip door flap and now you can humanely free your droid from your clutches at will.

I printed this with no supports on a stock Ender 3. I had to slow down the first layer a lot to get everything to stay on the bed.


EDIT: I did another test print, this time adding supports (only where touching bed) and it made the magnet hole MUCH more accurate, and it wasn't even difficult to snap off.
