Drop Set Pin

Drop Set Pins enhance your ability to quickly lower the weight without interruption on most weight stack styled gym equipment.


Hardware Required:
(1) ø5/16" x 5" lg unthreaded rod (I've used CRS, 304 SS, and Aluminum)
(1) 5/16" (or 8mm) retaining washer (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CX5C4MHK?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1)
(1) M4 x 35mm lg binding post screw (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8JBN3MP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1)
(1) Compression spring 3.5" FL x 3/4" OD x .047" WG (could go lighter on the wire gauge)


Notes:
Printed using PLA+ filament
File "DROPSET-2" needs support
File "DROPSET-3" may need diameter scaled for snug fit in "DROPSET-1". Or super glue it idc
Use heaviest Loctite threadlocker you have on binding post screw
Added file "DROPSET-1_CARBON" & "DROPSET-2_CARBON" for those who prefer a textured surface
