This Drop Spindle was made from scratch, as my first 3D creation. I recommend printing the Spindle in a wood PLA, or similar, allowing you to give it a light sand to make it smoother to the touch. I printed the Whorl in a Flax Filament. Why not use a patterned plate as the bottom when it prints becomes the top when spinning! I'm happy for you to upload your own settings and adaptions.
