Drum Floor Stand

I needed something simple to hold a bass drum sideways for an elementary class to play. Basically makes a circle drum out of a (probably more readily available) bass drum. It also makes a good tabletop stand for the newish Dynasty Wedge Snares. I will be lining with felt to allow more free vibration for the bass drum (I thought the thin legs would be enough suspension but it still has a little rattle even though the drum rings pretty good).

The opening is 10mm which accommodates my Mapex Qualifier marching bass drum rims loosely, Wedge Snares perfectly (stays on without tape), but doesn't fit the Qualifier quads. Simple scaling in your print layout software is probably all that's needed to make taller or shorter versions, as well as to make it fit your particular rim.
