Dryer door hinge.

I have finally decided, after a long hiatus, to start making 3d models again.

I never really uploaded anything to Thingiverse so I am going through my old files and uploading them, perhaps somebody will find them useful.

My 3d printer is currently out of action so it will be hard for me to test any future models that I design. I currently dont have the funds for a new printer and probably wont any time in the foreseeable future.

This model is a door hinge i made to replace the old cast aluminium one that broke on our old clothes dryer. Back then I thought it would be unique to the brand of dryer but i have since noticed that lots of brands are using the exact same thing to hold the door to the machine.

The 3d printed hinge fits perfectly on our dryer and is still going strong and shows no sign of failing after over a year.
