Dryer Vent Flap

Replacement dryer vent flap. Use the OpenSCAD file or Customizer to create your own — just a few simple measurements with a caliper. Print in PETG or another UV- and heat-resistant material.

Original is curved (arced) for good aerodynamics. The inner side may look rough, and some strands may partially delaminate due to overhangs, but the print should be structurally sound. If it fails to print, use flat version by setting FLAP_ARC_HEIGHT to zero.

If you choose to print the flap in PLA, avoid using it on hot exhausts or running the dryer on high heat. PLA can last for months outdoors, especially if it’s not exposed to direct sunlight, so for a temporary flap on a cold exhaust vent, it can still be a valid choice.
