Press down and twist to cut open.

Throwing used pods into the trash bin causes a lot of water in the bin. Trash + water = rot & mold.

Simple 'cutter' to cut open and drain a pod before putting it in the trash.

YES - you could use a knife - but that would not involve me using any of my 3d Printer - and would probably not go well: 10 year old son + knife + slippery plastic/water = stitches.
