DX COMMANDER / SPIDERPOLE BASE

OK the missing part of the equation.

Having left half my dx commander base bit at the mother in laws I needed to make up another one so set about making it in a single bit that would also work with the 12M Spiderpole.

It is made in 2 bits that clip together and are secured with a bit of CA.

I made up the ring from a 125mm x 3mm ali disk from ebay and chopped a hole in the middle. You can leave the base disk whole. I threaded the bolts in but as there is some plastic for the thread to bite into you might get away with out doing that.

There are a couple of wires from the PL259 connector with eyes crimped on to connect to the top and the bottom and that's about it.
