Dynam Gloster Meteor Inlet Ring

Enhance your Dynam Gloster Metor R/C Airplane with two of these precise fit inlet rings. At 72mm ID, 92mm OD and a depth of 10mm they blend in beautifully to the existing nacelle.

I used Fusion 360 to design the part. I imported a side view picture of the nacelle and used it as a canvas. Then traced the outline curve with a spline and extended the curve to get the perfect curvature of the ring. (see blue/green lines in the drawing).

The ring is 4 walls thick (1.2mm), printed with no fill, 0.12 layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle in white premium PLA. Also use a raft to ensure it adheres to the plate. Set the raft to extend 5mm.
