Dynamite .21 RTR Head Protector

Custom head protectors for the Dynamite .21 RTR engine that comes with the Losi 8ight RTR buggy. I made a pretty solid one, then made another with wider grippers and venting slots so it will hold on better if you use TPU or another flexible filament but wont trap the heat from the top cooling fin either.

I printed some tests on the r2 version which is the solid one. I got it to work and clip on decent with PETG but i snapped a foot off of it, so maybe not the best material for use here.... The vented version I printed in some cheap TPU at 0.1mm thick on a 0.8mm nozzle and it snaps right on and grips excellent. I formed the inside to mold to the engine head shape, so there is no void or wiggle space and it holds firm enough that i can pick up the whole buggy by the head protector.

I don't know if it will fit other engine heads, but if it does, let us know.

I molded the gripper feet so supports are not needed as my first version did not like it when I tried to remove the support
