Dyson DC23 Bin Hinge

Repair for the hinge on the bin of a Dyson DC23 vacuum cleaner, with purple cyclone head, Australian market. I am not sure if this fix applies to other Dyson models.

4 of M5 x 20mm long bolts and nuts
1 x m5 bolt (or metal rod), to used as the pin for the new hinge

I used 100.5% scaling on Cura to ensure printed size as per the model

First prepare the original Dyson to accept the hinge repair:

1. Cut off any remaining pin/s from the original Dyson barrel hinge part, this will allow the new hinge to fit.

2. Trim the Bin lid with a straight cut - also remove the seal during the cutting process. This trim is optional, but will allow the lid to open to it's maximum.
