This part is meant to go inside power socket of your Dyson V7 or V8 or other model while in use, in case you are suffering static electricity shocks coming straight from your vacuum cleaner power socket. It also prevents from stalling the battery for some time while those shocks occur.

Mounts and unmounts very easily, barely noticeable while vacuuming.
Take it out with care to not to break inside socket.
