This should take about 5 -10 minutes.Clean the slots:Use a needle tool or another sharp instrument to remove the supports from the slots. They come off easily if you insert the tool underneath and lift gently.⚠️ Do not sand the lock area and the rails (as indicated by the red arrows). Assembly Tip: Before installing the mechanism on your Dyson, run the screw into the main body a couple of times to ensure a smooth fit.Attach the main body:Slide the main body onto the Dyson from the back of the handle. The slots on the main body (see reference images) should enclose the extension under the trigger.Insert the screw:Secure the main body
