This is an adapter for an electronic cymbal. I am not a drummer so I don't know the proper name for it. It woks on the kit I designed it for, which is an Ion kit. I recently purchased a Simmons sd600, the adapters for the cymbals look very similar so I suspect you can use this on most kits.
