Stock rubber RTABs on the E36 turn to mush after 20+ years, and replacement kits aren't cheap. This is the way to print your own set, instead of buying one.
At around 325g of filament per set, the cost is a fraction of what you'd pay for a store-bought kit.
My kit is designed to use the original center shaft of the rubber bushing, or you can find any
What filament should you use?
TPU95A is a solid choice if you want a noticeably tighter, more track-oriented feel — keep in mind it's a big jump in stiffness compared to the stock rubber, so expect more vibration and noise transmitted into the cabin. If you want something closer to OEM comfort while still being firmer than worn-out rubber, softer TPUs (85A-90A) are a better daily-driver option.
Sticking with rubber bushings?
If you insist on rubber bushings, I also have a model for RTAB limiters designed for stock-style bushings. If you are interested in them - they are available in my profile.
