E39 Android Radio Mounts

I made this mount for the Android radio I bought for my E39 as the included mounts didn't even come close to fitting right and they were made of thin bent steel that bent easily under the pressure of the screws.

In order to print, some perimeters are useful, but infill can be low as the forces involved are small.

Once printed a M3 nut should be inserted. Mind that it will fit really tight. When screwing onto the car, there's some play with the side screws to adjust and then it wont move once screwed down. Then, in order to be screwed to the screen, I've bought some M3 40mm long Allen screws. Screws may be shorter, but this length allows for threading the first threads by hand.

In my case the screw holes of the screen were too close to the plastic sides so I drilled the screen to improve fitment. As well as part of the side plastic as it comes into contact with the bottom side screws.
