This is a zero offset adapter for an E3D hot end clone found here.(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077NZR8NZ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
I wanted to use the existing hot end carriage because it is steel, and would hold up to the heat better and already has a parts cooling fan.
This adapter uses the existing x-stop bar, bearing blocks, belt tensioner, cooling fan, and fan shroud, making it a minimal build.
I have yet to run my wires and test but the fit is very snug, with plenty of room for the fan that comes with the hot end kit.
I replaced the existing 6 screws holding the carriage to the x bearing blocks with slightly longer screws. The x-stop sits on the top of the adapter as seen in the pictures.
Parts list:
6 - M4-0.70 x 12 screws
2 - M4-0.70 x 25 screws
2 - M4-0.70 nuts
