I liked this design of the ear saver as its a little more flexable than the one of the other main ones being printed and it uses a little less plastic. I needed one that was slightly longer size. This one is about 180mm wide.
I can fit 7 on my Ender3 and 11 on my CR10S (maybe more on each if I really tried).
They are running about 14 min for each one (1h 40m total on the ender3).
I modified some print settings to get all horizontal and vertical lines to be all walls and no top layer pattern as seen in the picture. This cut a couple min off the print time.
My settings:
0.4 nozzle
Layer Height = 0.28
Line width 0.5
walls = 4
top layers = 5
bottom layers = 3
Horizontal Expansion = -0.05 (I played with this until all layers were nothing but straight line inner walls and no zig zag pattern, when its 0 the vertical parts of the hook had a bunch of yellow zigzag lines)
Print speed = 80 mm/s (bumped up as my default is 50)
Wall speed 40 (set by cura)
