Earbud Wrap

Our project that we chose to create is an earbud wrap. This object is dumbbell shaped. What inspired us to make this earbud wrap was tangled headphones. Tangled headphones have become a problem in today’s technology-full life and can lead to them breaking faster. Our earbud wrap is designed to be portable and hard to break. It would be made out of hard plastic and would be $4 so kids would be able to afford it. The challenges that we faced were finding the right measurements. We wanted it to be small and compact but still be able to find the earbuds and stop them from sliding off. We overcame this challenge by carefully measuring the earbud cord. Another challenge was using tinkercad since it was our first time using it and we didn't know how to work it. After much practice, we eventually learned how to use it. We saw some ideas of other earbud wraps on the internet and none of them are quite like our design. All the pictures we saw of other designs looked like there could be something problematic, so our goal was to create an improved version of the earbud wrap. We’d like this earbud wrap to impact our lives by making it easier to untangle earphones.
