Easiest BLTouch Mount

This is a very simple BLTouch mount that uses 3M VHB tape for mounting - just choose a spot, use the gauge to determine the correct position above the nozzle and stick. Be sure to scuff the part and the surface you plan to adhere it to - once placed with VHB it won't come loose - you only get one chance to get it right though.... or you have to cut it off and start over.

To use the gauge place it on the build surface and simply lower the nozzle until it just touches the top of the long end of the gauge, then place the BLTouch probe in the hole in the other end of the gauge and rest the plastic body of the BLTouch on the gauge - this places the BLTouch at the correct height above the nozzle. I used 0.5mm x 20mm 3M VHB - cut a piece to completely cover the reverse side of the mount and adhere. When ready to place expose the second layer of adhesive. Be sure to mount the BLTouch as close to perpendicular as possible - a small spirit level tube is handy.
