Easter Lamp Shade

This is my entry for the MakerWorld Easter Contest. It is a bell-curved lampshade featuring a continuous, embossed pattern of bunnies, chicks, and spring flowers. Because of the varying geometry thickness, the pattern acts like a lithophane. When the light is off, you get a clean, modern silhouette. When the light is on, the internal light source pushes through the thinner plastic, illuminating the Easter pattern perfectly. I did not manually sculpt this in CAD. Instead, I generated this instantly using a real-time parametric engine I built called MOORPH.APP. The engine calculates the math to ensure the mesh is perfectly manifold and specifically optimized for continuous extrusion.You can download and print this exact file for free.
