Easy add-on shelf brackets

My wife's brooch cabinet was full so I made up some brackets to add-on shelves as she needs space. These brackets allow the addition of a 1x6 board cut to the length of the current shelf. These aren't really ‘free standing’ hence the thin foot profile. I made them with the idea of adding a shelf that's constrained by the current width of the space without reducing the space underneath. We are using them for expanding a brooch collection, so I won't comment on the weight capacity. I made two models:The first includes a fillet / curved underside for support, but my printer couldn't quite nail the smooth curve and kept coming out with what i call ‘neck beard’. It's very functional and your mileage may vary with a more calibrated printer. The second model replaces the fillet with supports on the sides and I even added 2 screw holes for more secure attachment if needed. PRINTER SETTINGS 0.4 mm nozzleI printed at 0.12 / 0.16 initial (w/ or w/o variable layer height)3
