This project contains parts to convert a hoverboard into a gokart the easiest (probably also the cheapest) way possible.
The vehicle has a trike configuration with a caster wheel in the front. It uses levers to streer.
The main axle is an M12 threaded rod. The rod holders are attatched to the wood with M8 bolts. The levers are made from M8 threaded rods and secured by nuts.
Pads:
Both pads can be printed at once and they just fit onto the bed of an Ender3 in the depicted orientation. It is possible to print both from a single 1kg roll of filament. To do that, you have to print with 0% infill. Slice it and check the estimated filament needed. Increase the wall thickness (number of wall lines) in the slicing software until the estimated filament needed will be exactly 1kg (1000g) or very close. The walls around the holes will keep the part well reinforced. When in doubt, you can also decrease the flow rate to 98 or 99% either in the slicing software or directly on the printer (if it
