Echo Dot Cabinet Mount

I created this based on some other designs I had come across that were similar, but I wanted a hidden base feature, better audio, and a more secure fit.

I ended up making two bases that can be rotated for better cord management and mounting flexibility. The bases should be a friction fit, but a screw or two can be added to lock them together if concerned about the fit. The hidden base only has one screw hole, but can be modified for two or attached with adhesive to create a clean installation. The flanged base allows you to attach the base to the cabinet or other mounting surface and then connect the Echo Dot mount to avoid issues with putting the screws in the base.

I had tried other designs and could not tell much difference in audio so I made this with minimal blocking of the audio and in testing could tell the sound was much louder and clearer with the mount as apposed to without.
