**Summary**
I designed this locking mechanism to solve a critical issue with standard 12V cigarette lighter sockets: they are notoriously insecure. A minor cable tug or vibration can disconnect the plug, which is a disaster for critical applications.
**The Motivation:**
As an astrophotographer, I rely on portable power for my telescope mount and cooled cameras. A momentary power loss during a session ruins hours of imaging data. I created this "Anti-Pull" system to mechanically lock the connector in place, ensuring a failsafe connection for my field equipment.
**Design Features:**
Tool-Free Assembly: The design uses a snap-fit hinge mechanism, so no screws or external hardware are required.
Non-Destructive & Removable: The base attaches to the EcoFlow River 3 using custom-cut Velcro. This allows you to easily remove the entire mechanism when not in use without leaving residue or altering the battery casing.
Secure Fit: The latch pivots down to clamp
